Reach patients
on WhatsApp

WhatsApp, SMS and email sent from one place and logged in one place, with delivery status on every message.

Stop guessing whether the patient got it.

Sent, delivered or failed, recorded per message. Reception knows exactly who still needs a phone call.

The app they already have open

Confirmations, reminders, forms and scripts go out over WhatsApp, which most South African patients read within minutes. Email takes days, if ever.

Falls back to SMS on its own

When WhatsApp reports a message undelivered, Saya rebuilds it as an SMS, sends it, and remembers that this patient is an SMS patient.

One log for the practice

Every patient-facing send is recorded against the patient and the appointment, with the message body kept so you can see what they actually received.

A short list of what broke

Failed and undelivered messages collect in one feed with a reason in plain English. "This number isn't on WhatsApp" is useful. "63003" isn't.

Automatic where it should be, manual where it matters

Reminders, confirmations and form invitations send themselves. Everything else is two clicks from the patient record.

How it works

What happens inside Saya, from the first click to the patient record.

  1. 01

    Three channels, one interface

WhatsApp, SMS and email are sent the same way and logged the same way, defaulting to whichever the patient prefers.

  2. 02

    Status per message

Queued, sent, delivered, undelivered, failed. Status only moves forward, so a late callback can't downgrade something that already arrived.

  3. 03

    Retry without retyping

Resend on a different channel straight from the log. The retry stays linked to the original so the trail holds together.

  4. 04

    Templates for the routine stuff

Confirmations, reminders, follow-ups and intake invitations run off approved templates, so the wording doesn't drift between staff.
